GiMa AKA Giacomo Manzi is a 20 years old guy from Avellino, Italy, started as a beat maker for his own homies from his hometown. Bringing the melodies from Jon Hopkins, fit with drums from post dubstep and beyond to find the right balance, GiMa is without doubt a brilliant discovery for the music industry. As young as much as talented, the 3 original tracks are slow and groovy, dark and mental, hard to classify. Voices in the space fit together with deep basses and dubstep beats, ever with the melody attitude that define the sound of Syntheke. To increase to the original 3 tracks we have a remix from A Safe Shelter (On A Quest EP, released on Sherpa records and Believe digital last year): the right techno progression fused together with typical border community melancholy attitude and few shades of dystopian melodies.
